"Doubts on hair transplanatation"

   Hi,

I am kohila From Erode-TN(currently in chennai). I need to know abot the Hair transplantation. As my would be(age 28)is facing men bladness pattern disease and his front head is getting bald slowly. He is taking treatment for this baldness for last 2 years(starting from hair fall/thinner)but couldn't see good any improvemnet on hair fall and baldness. He is feeling bad and worring himeslf of his baldness.

Recently i came across many articles on hair transplantation and its permanaent solution for baldness on few sites.

And we have consulted a dermologist in comibatore - TN regarding transplantation. He informed the transplanation would cost 75,000 and needs around 1500 grafts. Also he advised as his hair is getting more thinner and getting fell down. So as a first step the hair thinning should be stopped then transplantion can be done. Hence he have pescribed an oil and tablets covering 2 months to stop the hair thinning.

My concern here is, whether there is a change of hair thinning in treated parts after hair transplantation. If so what steps should be done as percausionary to avoid this sitauation.

Also i got informed, that after hair transplantation, the person who undergone this treatment should not lie down by touching his head on his pillow.

i am totally confused and worried if the transplantaion would cause the side affects than before. can you please advice on this and this will be very grateful to you.

Thanks , Kohila
